Vanessa is an environmental geologist with eight years of experience providing professional environmental and geological services. She understands the technical challenges of a diverse range of projects. Vanessa’s expertise includes soil, groundwater, soil gas, indoor air sampling and analysis; hazardous building material inventories; storm water planning and inspection; site assessment and remediation; and Phase I environmental site assessments. Vanessa supports contaminated site and geotechnical investigation work for a variety of Alaskan infrastructure projects.

    Either a research geologist/volcanologist or a pilot.

    I’m currently working on my private pilot license.

    Flying or being able to swim to the depths of the ocean without air or equipment.

    Nearly anything by Stephen King and the Harry Potter series.
