Chris possesses more than 17 years of experience in engineering and environmental geology and is R&M’s technical expert on contaminated site investigation, characterization and remediation. His skills include Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, assessing site contamination potential, geotechnical investigations, environmental construction oversight and monitoring, and coordinating with regulatory agencies, including Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and Environmental Protection Agency. In recent years, an increasing number of projects have been impacted by per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and Chris actively works with civil and structural engineers to find innovative solutions to client project goals, managing PFAS environmental liability cost and meeting regulatory requirements.

    I decided that having 60,000 to 180,000 stinging insects 50' from my house was a good idea.

    Mountaineer.

    Successfully overwintering honey bees in Alaska.
