Senior Land Surveyor

Craig has 29 years of land surveying experience, including 11 years in Alaska. His role has included business owner, department head, project manager, party chief and field technician. Craig has a strong background in all aspects of surveying. He has surveyed and drafted hundreds of survey plats for municipalities, state and federal agencies, and completed numerous topographic surveying and mapping projects to support engineering design. Craig also has extensive experience working with a variety of CAD and GIS applications for engineering, energy development, transportation networks, environmental permitting and construction projects. He is based in our Fairbanks office where he enjoys a mix of field and office work.

  • What places are on your travel bucket list?
    Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro; rafting the Grand Canyon with family; hiking the Pacific Crest Trail; and visiting Namibia.
  • What are you most likely doing on the weekend?
    Building my remote log cabin; something outdoors with my family (skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, boating, snow machining); or working in my shop (woodwork, metal work, vehicles).
  • What is a fun fact few people know about you?
    I was born in and spent the first half of my life in Africa.
  • What shows are you currently streaming?
    Yellowstone and Hell on Wheels.
  • What is one skill you are currently working on?
    Blacksmithing.
