Group Manager - Land Surveying

Chad has 25 years of experience in all facets of field and office surveying. His responsibilities include managing surveying and mapping projects ranging from small design sur­veys to large multi-crew road corridor projects. Chad has planned and executed field surveys, collected field data, took detailed field notes, reduced data and prepared final deliverables ranging from project control summaries to final mapping. He has participated in contracts for clients such as Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility, Municipality of Anchorage Project Management & Engineer Department, Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, and Alaska Railroad Corporation, and under these contracts, has performed many field-to-final mapping surveys for control, design and construction.

    Anywhere in Asia. I would love to see the Great Wall of China.
  • What are you most likely doing on the weekend?
    Hanging with the family, whether it’s hiking, yard work, camping, recreating or just vegging out at the house.
  • What is a fun fact few people know about you?
    I graduated from high school in Germany.
  • When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
    I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my dad. He was a helicopter pilot in the army.
  • What is one skill you are currently working on?
    I will always be working on becoming a better surveyor, at least until I retire.
