The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is developing an interchange at the Seward Highway outside Girdwood. R&M is the prime consultant for this reconfiguration project.
The Seward Hwy & Alyeska Hwy Intersection Improvement project seeks to improve the capacity, operation and safety of the intersection that provides the gateway into Girdwood. R&M has developed several concept alternatives. The flyover videos below show the recommended alternative concept and illustrate driving through the proposed loops from several directions.
