R&M recently promoted three employees into new roles: Courtney Maillet, FMAA to Accounting Supervisor, Mikey Auza to Project Biller and Bryant Wright, CPRP to Senior Planner.

Courtney has been with R&M for 14 years and previously served as a Senior Project Accountant. In her new role, she is responsible for supervising the accounting team and managing the firm’s day-to-day financial operations. During her tenure at R&M, Courtney has contributed significantly to the success of R&M’s financial operations, including maintaining contract compliance, managing and reporting project financials and budgets, assisting with database configuration, and providing support for annual financial audits and reviews. She is known for her attention to detail and mentorship within the accounting team.

Courtney holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage and has earned her Financial Management Accounting Associate (FMAA) Certification. She enjoys biking, camping, fishing, hiking and running. On the weekends, Courtney is usually snowmachining or four wheeling with her kids.

Mikey has worked at R&M for three years and brings four years of accounting experience. He previously served as an Accounting Coordinator and now supports project accounting tasks across R&M’s various departments. Mikey is a purpose-driven business professional with a background in project coordination and customer service. His experience includes maintaining project budgets and information, asset management, data entry, logistics, procurement and report auditing.

Mikey holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Colorado State University. He loves the Alaskan outdoors and the extremes of all the seasons in the state. Mikey has a dog named Coast, named after Coast Pizza in Girdwood. He enjoys snowboarding, biking, fishing and exploring the singletracks and snow-covered slopes of the Chugach.

Bryant has 11 years of experience in natural resources planning, agency coordination and public outreach. He joined R&M three years ago and was promoted from Planner to Senior Planner. In this role, Bryant is leading complex planning efforts and supporting community engagement initiatives across Alaska. He has worked on a variety of projects, including the Fairbanks Area Surface Transportation Metropolitan Transportation Plan Update, Fairbanks North Star Borough Comprehensive Plan, Anchorage Metropolitan Area Transportation Solutions, Minnesota and I/L Streets Corridor Plan and the statewide travel demand model updates. Bryant is also leading several recreation studies for hydroelectric projects in Western Alaska and Southeast Alaska. His promotion recognizes his strategic insight and leadership in planning processes.

Bryant holds a M.S. in Natural Resources Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and a B.A. in Art History & Studio Art from Trinity University. He is a member of the American Planning Association and a Certified Park and Recreation Professional through the National Recreation and Park Association. In his free time, Bryant enjoys hiking, photography and exploring Alaska’s public lands.
