Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Travis has 22 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. His focus has been on transportation and infrastructure, foundation engineering, geo-hazards and cold regions engineering projects. Travis’s work includes geotechnical design and performing and managing geotechnical site investigations using a variety of drilling and sampling techniques. He is well-versed in the technical aspects of designing shallow and deep foundations, seismic geo-hazards, slope stability, retaining walls, pavement and roadways, and permafrost engineering. Travis is also experienced in construction phase services, performing construction monitoring and inspection for bridge foundations, buildings, docks, pipeline upgrades and other earthworks.

    Developing renewable energy projects or raising baby otters.

    I own a unicycle, but am scared to learn/ride it.

    1) We humans on Mother Earth are traveling at 67,000 miles per hour, yet have zero perception of this. 2) How to adjust a rear derailleur without making it worse.
  • What shows are you currently streaming?
    Currently, Ted Lasso - brilliant characters and uplifting story. I see a little bit of Roy Kent in myself.
  • What is one skill you are currently working on?
    Besides flying on my unicycle: 1) Trying to master the backyard bike park, 2) Dad Jokes and 3) and new recipes in the Pressure Cooker (Insta-Pot). Sorry, you only asked for one skill?
