Ryder Skaaren

Engineering Intern

Ryder is an intern with R&M’s Airport Engineering Group, where he supports design tasks for airport improvement projects. He is currently pursuing a civil engineering degree at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Ryder brings early experience in highway and traffic design from his internships with the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF) and Kokinhenik LLC, where he conducted project quality calculations, created erosion control plans, and maintained traffic monitoring equipment. He is also skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiar with AASHTO standards and DOT&PF preconstruction procedures.
