Rachael is a highly organized and motivated individual with a positive attitude. She joined R&M’s Planning Department after two years representing R&M at the front desk. Rachel gained experience by providing administrative and public involvement support to planning projects throughout Alaska. She is an EIT, having worked for Alyeska Pipeline Service Company for six years after graduating with her degree in civil engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

  • What are you most likely doing on the weekend?
    Winning at crossword puzzles and losing at chess.
  • If you weren’t doing your current job, what would be your dream job?
    I would love to be a professional photographer, but I don't enjoy the stress that it would bring!
  • What is one skill you are currently working on?
    I'm (slowly) learning Spanish with my oldest son.
  • If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
    Teleportation. It would make traveling so much easier.

    The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and Dark Matter by Blake Crouch.
