He has served as assistant project engineer, office engineer, con­struction inspector and materials technician in support of highway, airport, waterfront and railroad projects throughout Alaska. Mick’s experience includes performing on-site inspection, testing and documentation services.

    Sleeping in and lots of cooking. Depending on the season, hiking or camping, downhill skiing or ice climbing.

    In high school, I sang in a choir concert at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

    Culture, food and infrastructure (no, really).

    Hyperion, The Stand, Ishmael and Blood Meridian.
