Zweig Group’s mission is to help leaders in the architecture, engineering and environmental consulting industries achieve their business and personal goals. Each year they recognize the creation of outstanding workplaces at the top architecture, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental, geotechnical engineering, landscape architecture/planning and multi-discipline firms in the U.S. and Canada through the Best Firms To Work For Award. Firms are graded on a combination score of comprehensive employee surveys and corporate evaluations, then ranked by category. Over 11,000 employees from participating firms responded to the survey. Participating firms also received a summary report of their employees’ survey responses and a report containing valuable benchmarking data from all firms in a given category.
Firms are selected based on their workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates and much more. Based on the survey results, R&M’s employees feel the firm has a culture of support and collaboration, is focused on quality and integrity, is a fun workplace and has great benefits. One respondent wrote, “Our firm routinely cares about its employees but has also shown great compassion for employees and families who are affected by tragedy and illness. We have a high standard of performance internally and we show that to our clients on a daily basis.”
