He has quickly become a valuable member of R&M’s Utilities Group. Jesse has four years of engineering experience in Alaska. While attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks, he spent his summers interning for the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF). At DOT&PF, Jesse supported several highway design projects, including the Seward Highway MP 75-90 Rehabilitation and HSIP: CR Curve Warning Signs Evaluation/Upgrade Project. He has also supported design of various small structural projects.

“The biggest thing I like about working here is the people. Everyone always seems to be in a good mood and enjoys showing up every day. I also really enjoy how much I’ve been learning and the help I’ve been receiving when I am unfamiliar with a particular task. Working at R&M, I hope to broaden my skillsets and work towards eventually getting my PE, as well as working on projects that help my community.”
