Grayling Peterson, EIT, and Kristina Montuya have joined R&M as Staff Engineer and Accounting Coordinator, respectively, in the firm’s Anchorage office. Grayling joins R&M’s Surface Transportation Group, where he will support infrastructure projects across Alaska. Kristina joins the Accounting Group, supporting the firm’s financial operations.

Grayling joins R&M full-time after previously working as an engineering intern with the firm. In his role, he assists project teams with research, drafting, and modeling for a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects. Kristina brings extensive experience in accounting and administrative operations and supports accounts payable, vendor management and financial processing activities.

During his time as an intern, Grayling contributed to highway, airport, utility, parks and trails, and public facility projects throughout Alaska. His experience includes CAD development, drafting and modeling for transportation projects, as well as supporting field work for right-of-way and surveying efforts.

Grayling holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College. He is an Engineer-in-Training in Alaska. Outside of work, Grayling enjoys hiking, fishing, watching movies and playing board games.

Kristina brings 10 years of financial and administrative experience supporting high-volume accounting operations. She specializes in accounts payable, vendor management and payment processing, with experience across industries including oil and gas, construction, mining, engineering and government agencies.

Kristina holds a B.B.A in Management and a B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, hiking and exploring the outdoors. Kristina also has a passion for travel and values spending time in nature.
