Long has 20 years of experience in construction engineering, inspection and administration for transportation infrastructure projects throughout Alaska. He brings extensive experience managing complex highway construction, pavement rehabilitation, bridge, drainage, traffic control and pedestrian improvement projects. Long is skilled at resolving field challenges, coordinating among contractors, designers, agencies and other stakeholders, and leading inspection teams to ensure work complies with project plans, specifications and state and federal requirements. His practical, solutions-focused approach helps keep construction moving while maintaining quality, documentation and effective communication among project stakeholders.
