Jessica Koloski, CAP has earned her Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) designation.

The CAP certification is administered by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), a professional association that strives to ensure individuals working in office and administrative professions have the opportunity to connect, learn, lead and excel. This certification is the only recognized professional certification in the administrative profession that encompasses all areas of the office. It demonstrates employees are serious about advancing their career while increasing their skills and knowledge by studying and passing the exams.

“I wanted to get certified for myself, to prove I had the brains and determination to see it through. It took nine months of dedicated study time to earn this certification. I believe being certified lends credibility to me and to the administrative profession and demonstrates my commitment to professionalism.”

Jessica is an Administrative Assistant at R&M. She has been with the firm for seven years and is responsible for front desk operation, including publication and advanced word processing, report production, maintaining business equipment and supplies, boosting morale, welfare and recreation. She has been a team member in implementing and maintaining R&M’s new branding, move to a paperless office, professional reports and form templates and overall office continuity. Jessica has assisted with many final hydrologic, geotechnical, design study and environmental reports, as well as assisted with production of special provisions and specification packages. She has also distributing bid documents for several float, harbor and dock replacement/rehabilitation projects.

Jessica is busy mom hauling four little people to hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball and rodeos. She loves to bike in the summer and cheer her kids on at all their events. She also enjoys family time spent in Kenai and Fairbanks throughout most of the summer.
