Brad Harris, PE recently joined R&M as a Senior Project Engineer in the firm’s Utilities Group. In this role, Brad will provide senior-level project management and technical support for utility projects, lead efforts on rural water and sewer systems and disaster recovery projects, assist in improving utility infrastructure throughout Alaska, and mentor junior engineers.
Brad brings more than 37 years of civil engineering, utilities and facilities management experience to R&M. A retired U.S. Public Health Service captain, he has led complex infrastructure projects for the Indian Health Service and National Park Service, with a focus on protecting public health and improving communities. Brad’s background includes project management, utility operations and disaster recovery. He has developed sanitation facilities in rural Alaska, managed flood recovery efforts and historic structure repairs at Death Valley National Park, and overseen utility systems at multiple national parks. Brad’s addition enhances R&M’s capabilities in delivering resilient, cost-effective infrastructure solutions statewide.

Brad is passionate about delivering infrastructure that meets regulatory requirements while addressing community needs. He holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska. Brad is a Professional Civil Engineer registered in Alaska, California, Washington, Oregon and Nevada.
