R&M Ranked #24 on Zweig Group’s 2018 Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work for List
July 30, 2018
R&M was ranked #24 nationally on Zweig Group’s 2018 Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work For list, a prestigious list honoring outstanding workplaces at architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms. This represents R&M’s eighth year on the list.
Winning firms are recognized for their ability to inspire their teams to perform at the highest levels and create an environment where their people feel valued, can make a difference, and can clearly see their contribution to the overall mission and success of the firm.
“The strength of our firm, and the primary reason for our continued success is because of the commitment made by each individual to our team,” says Len Story, R&M’s Chief Executive Officer. “You can’t beat an organization that genuinely cares about and supports each other, and is both good at and loves what they are doing. It builds a company culture that is real and sustainable.”
Zweig Group’s mission is to help leaders in the architecture, engineering and environmental consulting industries achieve their business and personal goals. Each year they recognize industry firms for their workplace and employee retention practices in the U.S. and Canada through the Best Firms To Work For Awards. Firms are graded on a combination score of comprehensive employee surveys and corporate evaluations, then ranked by category. The selection criteria includes firm culture, workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates, professional development and more. Based on the survey results, R&M’s employees feel the firm has a positive work environment with a team culture, is focused on integrity and professionalism, is a fun workplace and has great benefits. One respondent wrote, “I absolutely love every day that I get to work at my firm. We have a talented, innovative team that works on the best projects for the best clients.”
Winners will be celebrated at the Hot Firm and A/E Industry Awards Conference in September, held this year in Dallas at the Fairmont Hotel.
