Staff Engineer

Russell is a dedicated civil engineer who strives to find new ways to add value to project assignments. He has five years of utilities experience. Russell started as an intern with the Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility helping the Planning Department. After finishing his internship, he moved to R&M’s Utilities Group, where he has worked on projects in Alaska’s municipalities and villages, from Juneau to Nome to Kodiak. Project work in different engineering disciplines and a variety of sub-regions of Alaska has given Russell a deeper understanding of the overarching concepts of engineering design development.

    Class work for my masters’ degree.

    I’ve rebuilt a Glenn 17 sail boat with my brothers.

    Yellowstone and Golden Girls.
  • When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
    A garbage truck driver.
