Engineering Technician

Neil is an experienced field inspector and materials technician with four years of industry experience. His experience includes performing a variety of construction inspection and materials testing for highway projects, including sampling asphalt, concrete mix and aggregates; performing burnpoints, split asphalt, gradations, air and slump tests; creating cylinders; and performing in place densities for pipes, structures and various other highway needs. Neil also has experience ensuring compliance with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and American Traffic Safety Services Association Plans. He previously worked as an Engineering Technician for the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Transportation, making him well-versed in AASHTO, ASTM and ATM methodologies.
