Description
R&M Consultants, Inc. is a well-established, employee-owned multi-discipline Alaskan firm specializing in cold regions civil engineering. Over the past 39 years, R&M has participated in some of Alaska’s most significant and technically challenging civil infrastructure projects, such as the Trans Alaska Pipeline System, Seward Highway Canyon Creek Bridge, and the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport Terminal C Redevelopment.
R&M is currently seeking a team-oriented staff civil engineer to support our Civil Engineering Department.
The Staff Civil Engineer will assist with the design of highway, airport, utility, street and site development projects.
The successful applicant will also be expected to represent R&M and actively participate in professional organizations and community activities.
The Staff Civil Engineer will work under close supervision of a professional engineer; as experience is gained, will carry out assignments of progressively increasing difficulty with greater independence.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with an E.I.T. certificate. Experience in AutoCAD/Land Desktop is desirable, as well as basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. All candidates should have good interpersonal abilities for working in a team environment and strong written and verbal communication skills.
