A fixture in Anchorage since 1969, R&M recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and state in which we work. R&M employees participate in many community activities, and the firm is pleased to share in and support this involvement. In addition to being an active member of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and many professional organizations, R&M is involved in the following community programs.
Adopt-A-Highway
To demonstrate our commitment to our community and our support for Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities programs, R&M actively participates in DOT&PF’s Adopt-A-Highway Program. R&M has adopted the section of the Seward Highway between Huffman Road and O’Malley Road. R&M is dedicated to doing our part in keeping our city clean and we schedule litter pick-ups along our stretch of adopted roadway multiple times each year.
Community
Athletic Programs
R&M encourages physical activity and recreation by providing sponsorship to local youth and adult sports programs.
Green
Star Program
R&M’s commitment to strong environmental and business ethics was recognized with a Green Star Award. This award recognizes that R&M has implemented at least 12 of the 18 Green Star standards such as recycling, improved purchasing, outreach to other organizations, education of employees, litter control, toxins reduction, water conservation and utility monitoring.
